Posting this a day late, due to being completely burnt after the Gallery East reunion show on Sunday, featuring DYS, FU’s, Jerry’s Kids, Gang Green, Antidote and Slapshot (and a few I missed although I did see Springa’s unfortunate performance of “Boiling Point” with Refuse Resist). Some bands were better than others, there was instrumental sloppiness and silliness here and there but it was still a good time—so fuck the haters. Also, fuck the haters and morons who attended the Glenn Beck rally in DC this past weekend, on the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech. Listen to my rant at the start of the third segment.

The show was also late due to my computer being on the fritz for a day due to a terrible virus and I can’t thank my friend Murray enough for fixing it for me. Next week—Labor Day music and Sonic Overload’s annual “salute to the students,” and other good stuff...
